Testimonials

'I never enjoyed working out, until I started 'Boot Camp in the Park'.  Now, I actually look forward to my morning workouts because of the positive motivation that I receive from the trainers and the social part of working out with friends.  I can definitely tell that I have more energy and make healthier eating choices on the days that I go to Boot Camp.  I feel better about myself and love tracking the pounds and inches that I have lost since I began.

I am happy to say that I am now a 'worker-outer' because of the success and fun I have had with 'Boot Camp in the Park'!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Boot Camp in the Park?

Boot camp in the Park is an effective workout program for women who want to reach their fitness goals. Guided by an enthusiastic team of certified trainers, boot camp participants benefit from:
Variety of drills, exercises and conditioning work
Personal Progress Report
Weekly lifestyle tips
Flexible schedule, 1 to 6 days a week

Where are the classes held?

Depending on the park, you will receive an e-mail a few days before the class starts letting you know where to go, as well as other information relevant to that particular park. At the East Cobb Park and J.J. Biello Parks we have the option of going inside if the weather is REALLY bad. We will reschedule at the other parks if we have to! You will always be able to make up a class within the 6 weeks, you are even allowed to ‘park-hop’ if you let me know so I can give the trainers a heads up!

Is Boot Camp for me?

Do you…….
-want to lose weight by summer?
-need to be held accountable?
-want your pre-baby body back?
-need motivation?
-want to look and feel better?
-need to shake up or jump start your fitness program?
If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, then Boot Camp in the Park is for you!

Are there advantages to exercising outside?
Definitely. Being outdoors offers a natural source of rejuvenation. Exercising in the open air invigorates your body and calms your mind. You will find it to be a refreshing alternative to the health clubs and community gyms.

What if I am not very physically fit?
Regardless of your abilities, we will encourage you to participate. You will not be left behind or asked to complete more than you are capable of doing, safely. You will compete only against yourself, but will work with others for the very best results! By the end of the 6 weeks, you will be amazed at your accomplishments!

What do I need to bring?
You need to bring an exercise mat, water and a towel. You will occasionally be asked to bring a set of hand weights (3-5 lbs.) Optional items in the winter: gloves and a hat.

What will I get out of participating?
You will notice a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being and self-confidence. The exercises are designed to:
- Reduce body fat, and lose weight
- Tone your butt, hips, thighs, and arms
- Flatten your stomach
- Increase strength and stamina
- Improve self image
- Strengthen body and mind

What is the cost (or the investment in myself)?
Repeat clients will receive discounts! Saturday Sessions will be $100 for a 5 visit punch card.
The weekly sessions will be $200 for 3 days a week, $250 for 4 days a week, and $275 for 5 days a week for the whole 6 weeks of training! This includes a Boot Camp in the Park t-shirt!

Do you offer childcare?
Contact Heidi depending on the location that you will need childcare.

What if there is bad weather?
We will have Boot Camp in the rain. If it is pouring however &/ or if it is under 42 degrees, we will meet inside at the Recreation Center's at the respective parks during the weekday mornings but will have makeup days for night time classes as well as Saturday mornings.

The Google calendar is a great way to check where we are meeting. If the weather is poor, we will put on the calendar if the meeting place has been changed at least an hour before class starts. You can check the website before you leave your house if you have any questions about where to go!

Please feel free to call us with any questions! Hope to see you all at the Park!!
